The Brief
To construct a supply chain to reduce operational costs and design a secure unit to hold and distribute the goods
How We Did it:
We negotiated with the Taiwanese manufacturer to load finished goods for transit by container to Southampton docks, providing all the necessary customs and transit documentation.
Upon receipt of the goods we transported the container to our warehouse in Gosport to decant the container and check the consignments against the delivery documentation.
All goods were then entered into the stock control system and communicated to the client.
We then committed the goods to racking in the unit constructed by us to meet the stock demand.
We also managed the European and national distribution to the end user on behalf of the client.
All returns and customer service requirements were provided by APD Logistics.
